Acceptable Use
A short, plain set of rules to keep Wavn safe and useful for everyone.
Last updated: July 18, 2026
Wavn is a workspace for thinking and deciding. To keep it that way, you agree not to use it for the following.
Don't break the law
No using Wavn to plan, carry out, or promote illegal activity, or to generate content that violates applicable laws, including fraud, money laundering, and violations of sanctions or export controls.
Don't harm others
- No content that exploits or endangers children. This is an absolute line, enforced without warning and reported where the law requires.
- No harassment, threats, stalking, or targeted abuse of any person.
- No instructions for weapons, malware, or causing serious physical or digital harm.
- No hateful content that demeans people based on who they are.
- No deceiving people at scale: no coordinated disinformation, impersonation, or fraud operations.
Don't abuse the service
- No attempts to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to Wavn, other members' workspaces, or our providers.
- No circumventing access controls, rate limits, fair-use limits, or the AI providers' own usage policies.
- No reselling, sublicensing, or scraping the service without written permission.
- No using connected integrations (Slack, GitHub, Telegram, and the rest) to spam, flood, or abuse the connected service or its users.
Don't misrepresent AI output
AI output can be wrong. Don't present it as established fact, professional advice, or another person's words without your own judgment, and disclose AI involvement where the context makes it matter. Wavn is built to show uncertainty; don't strip it out and pass the result off as certainty.
Security research
We welcome good-faith security research. If you find a vulnerability, report it privately to security@wavn.app and give us reasonable time to fix it before disclosure. Good-faith research conducted this way will not be treated as a violation of this policy. Testing against other members' data is never in scope.
Enforcement
Breaking these rules can lead to limits on, suspension of, or removal from Wavn, proportionate to the violation, with notice where practical. Serious cases may be reported to the appropriate authorities. If you think we got an enforcement call wrong, reply to the notice and a person will look at it.
Seen something that violates this policy? Tell us at report@wavn.app. Reports are read by people.
