The story
Wavn was started in September 2025 by a founder with no engineering background, as a beta built around one conviction: decisions get better when independent AI minds argue them in front of you, instead of one model handing back a confident answer. That first Wavn proved the conviction. It also taught a harder lesson.
The founder discovered that the real wall was never the idea, and never even the argument. It was the road. Nobody tells you which accounts a project needs, what a payment processor is, that you can connect an AI and have it build the thing. Capable people stall not because they lack judgment but because nobody shows them the next door. He lived that wall personally, month after month, while building the very product you're reading about.
In January 2026, Wavn was rebuilt from the ground up with that lesson designed in. The result is what the product is today: three minds that argue, decisions locked on the record, and the Guide, a road on every project that opens the next door exactly when you need it, lists what you'll need in plain words, and walks you from the thought to the built, delivered, scheduled thing.
What we believe
Disagreement is signal. Three minds that quietly agree teach you nothing. Wavn makes them argue, then maps where they genuinely diverge, because the contested ground is where the real decision lives.
Decisions should be kept. A choice is only as good as your ability to return to it, with its reasoning, its dissent, and its open questions intact. In Wavn, decisions become durable, not disposable.
The road should be shown. Tools that answer and leave you alone serve the people who already know the way. Wavn is built for the person with the idea, not just the person with the skills.
Grounded over hyped. We'd rather a tool say “we don't know” than confidently make something up. Our changelog is public and dated; if it's listed as shipped, it's live.
No OpenAI. Wavn runs three minds, and OpenAI isn't one of them, a deliberate choice about independence and where your thinking goes.
Where we are
Wavn is invite-only while we grow it carefully with early members who care about the same things we do. We build in the open with them, ship constantly, and stay honest about what's real and what isn't. The changelog is the receipt.
