How to use Wavn

Your first 5 minutes
in Wavn.

A plain, step-by-step guide. No jargon. By the end you will know exactly how to use every part of Wavn.

1
Sign in and open a canvas
Once your access is approved, you sign in with your phone number — we text you a code, you enter it, you are in. No passwords, no setup. A canvas is just a blank page, like a document, ready for you to start.
No API keys, no configuration. Every engine runs on Wavn's own infrastructure. You never need to bring a key or set anything up — it just works the moment you are in.
2
Write your thinking
Type whatever you are working on — a problem, a question, some notes. There is no required format. Use the toolbar at the top to add headings, bold text, lists, and more. It works just like any document editor.
Example: "We need to decide whether to hire a second engineer this quarter or wait until Q3. Budget is tight but the backlog is growing."
3
Pick an engine and ask
At the bottom of the canvas you will see 5 engine buttons. Pick the one that fits your task, type your question in the box, and press Enter. The AI answers right inside your canvas — not in a separate window.
Which engine? Claude for writing and clear thinking · Gemini for deep analysis · Mistral for fast answers · Perplexity for research and evidence · Cohere for remembering your past work.
4
Mark what matters
Every AI answer has three buttons: Decision, Action, and Question. When an answer contains something important, click the right one. It gets saved to the Decision Strip at the bottom of your canvas — so it never gets lost in the scroll.
You can also right-click any text in your canvas to mark it, ask an engine about it, or run a power tool on it.
5
Use the power tools
When you have a hard call to make, use the tools in the top bar:
⚡ Rift — Claude argues FOR your idea, Gemini argues AGAINST it, at the same time. You see both sides and decide.
⟡ Perspective Engine — shows you supporting, neutral, and opposing evidence from real sources before you commit.
⟳ Resolve — reads your whole canvas and summarises what is agreed, what is open, and what to do next.
6
Your work is saved automatically
Wavn saves your canvas every 30 seconds. You can export anything as a document, JSON, or PDF at any time from Settings. Your data is always yours — no lock-in.
